CSEA Rejects Westchester County Wage Increase Proposal

The wage offer was spread out over eight years.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The largest public employees union in Westchester County overwhelmingly turned down County Executive Robert Astorino’s contract proposal.

The Civil Service Employees Association voted against the eight-year plan 2,028 to 172, according to an article at lohud.com.

Astorino had proposed an 8.5 percent increase in wages over eight years.
