Democrats Choose Former Judge to Run for Westchester DA
The Democratic candidate will likely face one of two Republicans.

A former judge was selected by the Democratic party to run for Westchester District Attorney.
Anthony Scarpino, 64, of North Castle, was chosen after George Fufidio withdrew his name, the Journal News said.
The committee’s vote was unanimous.

Scarpino will face off with either Republican nominee Bruce Bendish or Mitch Benson, who is hoping to challenge Bendish in a primary.
At stake is the position vacated by Janet DiFiore who resigned when she was appointed New York State's Chief Judge.
