Dov Kolker, MD Joins White Plains Hospital

Director and Specialist in Foot and Ankle Surgery to see patients in White Plains and Armonk

White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Dov Kolker, MD to its Physician Associates Division. Dr. Kolker is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders and sports injuries. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City and has been the Director of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Kolker joins the Orthopaedic Specialists group bringing extensive clinical and academic experience.

Dr. Kolker graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University – where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society – and from Tufts University School of Medicine. He was also a Mathematics Scholar at Oxford University. He completed his surgical internship at Harvard Medical School (Beth Israel Hospital in Boston) and his orthopaedic residency and chief residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Kolker focused on sports medicine and was an assistant team physician for the Boston Red Sox and the Maccabiah World Olympics. Dr. Kolker is fellowship-trained in Trauma, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has trained internationally in Switzerland as well as at Harvard Medical School and at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Dr. Kolker has treated not only professional, but also collegiate and Olympic athletes. Dr. Kolker is the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award, distinguished as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and ranked among New York’s Super Doctors® annually for the past several years. Dr. Kolker has authored and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, books and chapters, and his research has been presented at regional, national and international meetings.
