Drunk Driver Went Wrong-Way On 3 Parkways In Westchester

Police said he was also in possession of cocaine.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A man from Long Island was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, May 18 after having driven the wrong way on three different parkways in Westchester County. According to information on the Westchester County Police Department’s Facebook page, the man was driving a Volkswagen Jetta south in the northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway when officers initially responded.

While police pursued him, he continued to drive the wrong way on to the Cross County Parkway and then on to the Saw Mill River Parkway.

The man, identified as Jason Eisenfeld, 34, of Old Bethpage, Nassau County, was pulled over finally in Yonkers.

He was charged with reckless endangerment, DWI and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
