Electrician Killed at Westchester County Airport Was a 40-Year Employee

The man was working on taxiway lights when he was electrocuted.

White Plains, NY — The electrician killed Thursday at Westchester County Airport was identified as Joseph Pingitore, 61, of Croton-on-Hudson.

His employer, Verde Electric, said he was working on taxiway lights when when he was electrocuted, the Journal News said.

Pingitore had been a 40-year employee and was nearing retirement.
