Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway

Bicycle Sundays, in which a portion of the Bronx River Parkway closes to vehicle traffic for the exclusive use of bicycles, joggers, walkers, in-line skaters, and those with scooters, will resume this fall for three consecutive Sundays, on September 11, 18 and September 25. "The program runs from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The 13.1-mile round-trip course begins at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and runs south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. There are many points of access and exit along the route." Parking at the County Center lot is $4. In case of rain, the program is cancelled. Call the County Center for information at (914) 995-4050.
