Dobbs 16 to Perform with Westchester Chordsmen

The Westchester Chordsmen will present the beauty and depth of the music of George Gershwin in an entertaining program called “Our Love is Here to Stay” on May 12, 2012, at the White Plains Middle School, 128 Grandview Avenue, White Plains, New York. Two performances are scheduled: a matinee at 2:00 p.m. and the evening show at 7:30 p.m.

This year, joining them on stage at the evening performance as special guests will be The Masters School’s award-winning coed a cappella group, Dobbs 16, which has performed around the world. “The Dobbs 16 is thrilled to be opening for the all-male Westchester Chordsmen,” says the group’s Music Director Gillian Crane. “I am excited for my students to see an adult group, with such a great history and passion for singing, perform.”

“It’s an honor to welcome Dobbs 16 to our show,” says Director of the Westchester Chordsmen Keith Harris. “They bring an energy and passion for music that is one of our founding principles.”
