Katherine Quinn will share her unique perspective on ways to bring greater fulfillment and purpose to our personal and professional lives as we juggle our multifaceted responsibilities. Guests and FWA members will learn stress-reducing techniques to establish more harmonious relationships with ourselves, family and colleagues. Blending her philosophy of being mindful and connected, "A Practical Primer for Improving Your Professional Life" will delight us with a simple but profound roadmap towards greater personal and professional wellbeing.

Speaker Profile

Katherine Quinn is the Executive Director of Support Connection, Inc., a not for profit organization established in 1996 that offers free, confidential breast and ovarian cancer support services that include counseling, wellness and educational programs. Ms. Quinn's initial career was in International Banking with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. where she held positions as a financial analyst, budget analyst and Senior Planning Officer. In her last position before changing her career focus to the not for profit sector, she was responsible for managing the salary and benefits budget for offices worldwide.

Katherine Quinn holds an MBA from the Hagan School of Business of Iona College, a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College of CUNY and a professional certificate in Not for Profit Management and Fundraising Prior to establishing Support Connection, Ms. Quinn was the Business Director at a crisis center, the Northern Westchester/Putnam Women's Resource Center that offered support and legal services to women and children affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
