WIHD hosts Lecture - Health Disparities of People with Intellectual Disabilities: What you need to know, What you need to do.

Nita Lowey, U.S. Representative for New York's 18th Congressional District will introduce our guest speaker, Dr Gloria Krahn of the National Center on Birth Defects and Development Disabilities.  Dr Krahn's lecture will review what is known about health needs and health disparities for people with intellectual disabilities. She will provide an update of recent developments in improving data on health needs and highlight what directions and actions need to be taken going forward.
