Reducing Waste Through Composting family workshop

Join us for a FREE hands-on family workshop on the joys of composting that will dispel myths, remove the mystery, and make composting more accessible to all (even if you live in an apartment)

Some of the activities will include:

    a recycling relay race for the kids

      a project to make your very own Vermiculture (that’s a worm composter!)

      a presentation on how to make great soil from kitchen and garden scraps

   literature on what can be recycled and what to do with more difficult items such as electronics, used batteries, motor oil, etc.
