
This Blooming City is the theme of White Plains Beautification Foundation’s 2012 Fall Gala to be held Thursday, October 25, 6 to 9 p.m., at the newly renovated and always elegant Westchester Hills Golf Club. Enjoy tasty butlered hors d’oeuvres, followed by a bountiful buffet dinner and mouth-watering desserts. Mingle with old friends, meet some new faces, whether you’re familiar with White Plains Beautification Foundation or not, you’re sure to enjoy the evening. And, you won’t want to miss the chance to win some fabulous prizes including a weekend for two at The Grafton Inn in Vermont, a custom painted Yankee-replica motorized child-size car signed by yet-to-be-named sports figures, a round of golf and lunch for a foursome at the lovely Westchester Hills, and much more.

White Plains Beautification Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1965. Proceeds from the gala directly benefit the almost 60 gardens planted and maintained by WPBF throughout the city of White Plains, as well as other WPBF programs such as school grants for gardening projects, Arbor Day celebrations and summer employment to White Plains youth to help water and weed the gardens, to name a few.
