Camp Funkist has also added an extra hour to the extended hours, which means that parents can pick up their children at either 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. This gives working parents more time to get to the camp site and provide campers with the opportunity to enjoy extra activities with their peers.
Gymnastics for summer is a 5-week program offering full-day gymnastics to girls and boys ages 6 and up at all levels of ability. Participants will be learning variety of skills all day long, while developing physical strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, social skills, and confidence in a safe and fun environment. Swimming and special events are included in the curriculum. Competitive gymnastics training is also available.
Special Programs for children with disabilities will continue to offer swimming, art, music, games, and outdoor play in its Summer Camp and Summer Sunday programs. Participants can develop and improve their emotion, social, and cognitive abilities in a safe and nurturing environment.
