Motorcyclist Dead on I-287 Entrance Ramp
He failed to negotiate a curve at the Exit 7 ramp onto the highway, police said.

WHITE PLAINS, NY – A motorcycle rider lost control and died on an entrance ramp to I-287 Monday evening, police said.
New York State Police said they were called to the scene at 7:06 p.m. Feb. 6.
The investigation revealed that Josaias S. Fernandes, 52, of White Plains, NY, was operating a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on the acceleration ramp of Exit 7 to I-287 when he failed to negotiate a curve, losing control, running off the road.

Fernandes was transported to White Plains Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The accident was reconstructed by the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
