Feds Still Considering Suing 5 Westchester Communities Over Diverse Housing

Two muncipalities were dropped from the list.

White Plains, NY — The list of municipalities in Westchester County that could be sued by the feds for not having enough diverse housing stock no longer includes North Castle and Rye Brook.

That leaves Croton-on-Hudson, Harrison, Lewisboro, Pelham Manor and Larchmont under the microscope of Attorney James E. Johnson, who is overseeing the implementation of the county’s 2009 affordable housing settlement, according to an article at the Journal News.
