Fire In Escalator Banks At Westchester Mall Closes Some Stores Sunday

WHITE PLAINS, NY — An electrical fire at The Westchester mall in downtown White Plains forced the early closing of some stores Sunday afternoon. The fire in an escalator bank was reported around 4:45 p.m.

While shoppers were asked to stay away from the area, other stores were not affected and remained open.
