Free Cone Day At The Movies From Ben & Jerry's

WHITE PLAINS, NY — National Amusements, Inc., which operates City Center 15 Cinema de Lux in White Plains and Showcase Cinema de Lux Ridge Hill in Yonkers, announced today that for the second year in a row it will participate in Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day. From noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, movie-goers in White Plains and Yonkers-Ridge Hill are invited to visit the Ben & Jerry's counter to receive a free ice cream cone. The offer is even sweeter since Free Cone Day falls on Bargain Tuesday, when general admission price is reduced to $8.50 per ticket.

"As one of Ben & Jerry’s largest operators, we are thrilled to be participating in Free Cone Day again and hope, with the help of our customers, to surpass the 22,000 cones claimed last year,” said Mark Malinowski, vice president of global marketing for National Amusements.

“Just like Ben & Jerry’s, we love giving back to our community and we share many core values including a deep commitment to showing appreciation to our loyal customers. Come help us meet our goal and enjoy some free ice cream on April 10th," he said.

For the past 40 years, Ben & Jerry’s has used Free Cone Day to thank customers for their loyalty and support and as a reminder that giving back to the community is just as sweet as free ice cream.
