Get the Gals Together for Galentine’s: Come to “Modern Women | Modern Vision"
The exhibition features works by the 20th and 21st century's most celebrated women photographers

Yonkers, NY - Feb. 3, 2026 – If you’re looking for a creative way to celebrate Galentine’s Day, grab your gal pals and head to the Hudson River Museum to see Modern Women /Modern Vision: Photographs from the Bank of America Collection.
The exhibition, featuring iconic works by some of the most famous women photographers of the 20th and 21st centuries, is on loan through the Bank of America’s Art in our Communities® program through May 10. It features nearly 100 images dating from 1905 to 2015, celebrating the contributions of women to the development and evolution of photography, with works by artists including Diane Arbus, Berenice Abbott, Margaret Bourke-White, Barbara Kruger, Dorothea Lange, Cindy Sherman, and Carrie Mae Weems.
From February 13–15 the museum is offering a special Galentine’s Day promotion. The campus, which recently expanded to include a West Wing with exhibition galleries and sweeping views of the Hudson River, features Glenview, an 1877 house on the National Register of Historic Places; a state-of-the-art planetarium; an environmental teaching gallery; and an outdoor amphitheater. The Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting its multidisciplinary offerings, which are complemented by an array of public programs that encourage creative expression, collaboration, and artistic and scientific discovery. The Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM), an honor awarded to only 3% of museums nationwide.
