Greenburgh's Lee F. Jackson School to Receive New Playground
The playground will be completed in time for the start of school.

Lee F. Jackson School in Greenburgh will receive a new playground in the coming days, courtesy of the Town Board.
Earlier in the summer, the board appropriated $75,000 for the development of a new playground at the elementary school, using non taxpayer developer escrow funds, according to Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
Construction of the playground will take place sometime in the next several days and will be finished by the start of the school year.

“The playground will be open to residents of the town during non school hours, and the school district has agreed to allow the town to use the school for our summer camp operations as long as the playground stands,” said Feiner in a statement. “A win win for all.”
