Guard Breaks Ankle While Struggling With Inmate At Westchester Jail
The incident is under review.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A corrections officer at the Westchester County Jail broke an ankle Tuesday during a struggle with an inmate. The injury occurred around 6 p.m. when the officer tried to restrain an adult male inmate in the behavioral health unit.
Neither the inmate nor the officer were named, the Journal News said.
A corrections official said the incident is under review.
