“Headshot Parties” For Business Owners & Executives

Jill Singer Graphics & Cathy Pinsky Studio Partner to Offer Affordable, Convenient Headshots to Westchester Professionals

Jill Singer of Jill Singer Graphics – an award-winning graphic design firm that produces results-oriented print and digital marketing material for businesses and non-profits – has partnered with Cathy Pinsky of Pinsky Studio to host full day photo events, offering significantly discounted professional head shots to clients and prospective clients. The next Headshot Party, available by invitation and appointment only, will take place on March 24th in White Plains.

Singer’s idea for the headshot party was a creative solution to a common problem – clients who hired her to design marketing material, including websites, annual reports and newsletters, often did not have an appropriate photo of themselves, and weren’t sure how to go about getting one. “Every professional needs a quality head shot to accompany their biography and marketing materials,” said Singer. “Hosting full-day photo events is a fun, affordable way to simplify the process and introduce my clients and colleagues – many of whom work for non-profit organizations – to the great work that Cathy and her team produce.”

The inaugural head shot party took place on January 13th at Sam’s of Gedney Way in White Plains. Master Hair Stylist Alyse Schiffman and M.A.C. Cosmetics Make-Up Artist Jay Alvear helped 38 professionals get ready for their photos, which were shot, edited and delivered digitally by Cathy Pinsky. Guests were able to network and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks in Sam’s versatile Oak Room. The first event, advertised only through email, resulted in a long waiting list, so Singer decided to put more dates on the calendar.

“In today’s social media-driven world, people want to ensure their photo is always up-to-date,” said Pinsky. “Jill’s idea to for full photo days is really innovative, allowing many people to get a headshot in one day, at a great price, and network with fellow attendees while doing so.”
