Hour-by-Hour Forecast for Thursday's Storm in White Plains

Parts of the Hudson Valley are under a winter weather advisory, but White Plains was spared this time.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The storm swinging into the Hudson Valley is what Bill Potter at Hudson Valley Weather called a "potpourri" of rain and snow.

"There are a lot of little nuances to this system," Potter said. But while Putnam County is under a Winter Storm Advisory till 1 p.m. expecting wet snow followed by rain, southern Westchester County could get up to a half inch of snow but is mostly going to get rain, according to the latest forecasts.
