“The September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance looks to bring together community members and nonprofits in charitable service on and around 9/11 as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks,” said Elizabeth Parra, corporate relations and service events manager for Volunteer New York!.

"This was the first year that we participated as a company in the 9/11 volunteer day,” said cofounder Ronnie Ram. “So many lost their lives and we wanted to do our small part to remember that day and the families that were lost,” he said.
