Jazz up Your Valentine’s Celebration at Reid Castle on February 12

The first in a 2026 Concert Series Featuring Mark Morganelli & The Jazz Forum All-Stars

PURCHASE, N.Y., February 2026 – Get an early start on your Valentine’s Weekend with romantic Brazilian jazz at one of the most elegant venues in Westchester - Manhattanville University’s Reid Castle.

The concert, featuring renowned jazz musician Mark Morganelli & The Jazz Forum All-Stars, will be held at the Castle on Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. and will launch Manhattanville’s first-ever jazz concert series. The series will bring a diverse range of musical styles—from Bossa Nova to American classics—to local audiences.

Nestled in the heart of scenic Westchester County (yet only 30 miles from Midtown Manhattan), Reid Castle is the perfect spot to hear great jazz. This inaugural series underscores Manhattanville University’s growing commitment to arts, culture, and community engagement. The Feb. 12 concert will feature the musical riches of Brazil, featuring Bossa Nova and Samba. Morganelli and his band will perform classics recently recorded on their double CD, Brasil!.

The intimate setting of the historic Reid Castle will provide audiences with an immersive, up-close jazz experience unlike any other in the region. Designed by the renowned architect Stanford White, Reid Castle features a marbled reception hall and grand rooms inspired by French chateaux, evoking the timeless sophistication of the Gilded Age (the castle has even been featured in the HBO award-winning historical drama “The Gilded Age”).

Advance tickets start at $35 ($40 at the door). Really impress your sweetheart with the premium package, which include a private cocktail table, a bottle of Champagne and a charcuterie board as well as a post-show private meet and greet. Season tickets are also available.
