Jet Blue Plane From White Plains Makes Emergency Landing In Charleston (VIDEO)
The flight was headed from White Plains to Florida.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — Passengers on board a Jet Blue flight headed from New York to Florida Friday were forced to evacuate the plane in Charleston, SC after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit, authorities said.
The flight, which took off from White Plains and was headed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, landed safely at Charleston International Airport at around 10:30 a.m., the FAA said. Passengers were evacuated via the emergency chutes and were bussed to the terminal.
In a statement, JetBlue said no injuries were reported to any of the passengers or the crew.

The FAA said the incident is under investigation.
