Join J-Teen Leadership, BBYO and Westchester Jewish Community Services, the largest provider of outpatient mental health services in Westchester, for a community day of mental health awareness, led by teen volunteers.
Volunteer Experience (For 8-12th graders): 2 - 4:30 pm
8th-12th grade volunteers will explore different facets of mental health and lead activities for families with teens and pre-teens that stomp out stigma, build resilience, and turn us into advocates and supporters.

Community Program Experience (For families with teens and pre-teens): 3 - 4:30 pm
Spend the afternoon with our teen volunteers and build a personal mental wellness toolkit through interactive, hands-on activities; Contribute to advocacy campaigns; and develop skills to recognize and ease pressures of mental health challenges. No registration or fee to participate.
Over 150 Jewish teens from across Westchester County will participate along with 10,000 Jewish teens from across North America, Europe, and Israel in a day of community service and improvement projects as they take part in J-SERVE, the International Day of Jewish Youth Service on April 2, 2017. J-SERVE 2017 is the Jewish service component of the Global Youth Service Day of Youth Service America.
