'Jump in and Swim' Month to Begin in White Plains
Activities will be held throughout the city at various locations.
WHITE PLAINS, NY - The fourth annual Jump In and Swim month in White Plains is set to begin.
Events will be held throughout the city from March 16 to April 2 at various locations.
Participating agencies will offer free swim classes and activities to residents of all ages.

The participating agencies include:
- White Plains Hospital
- White Plains Recreation and Parks Department
- YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester
- White Plains Youth Bureau
- White Plains City School District
Some of the activities, the schedule of which can be found here, include appearances by U.S. Olympian swimmer Chloe Sutton at various elementary schools, a swim jamboree, learn-to-swim activities and a pool party.
White Plains Hospital has arranged for participants to receive a free bathing towel, while supplies last, to commemorate the city-wide initiative.
