Jury Renders Verdict On 3 Invaders Of Women's Health Clinic
A bunch of people snuck in and confronted patients; the three who had to be carried out by White Plains police went to trial for trespass.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — After a three-day trial, a jury found three of the people who invaded All Women’s Medical in White Plains in 2021 guilty of trespass, Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced Thursday afternoon.
Matthew Connelly, 40, William Goodman, 52, and Christopher Moscinski, 52, were each found guilty of criminal trespass in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
The extremist group they're affiliated with, Red Rose Rescue, called it "a nonviolent direct action intervention" involving 10 women, two Catholic priests, a Franciscan brother and seven "laymen."

They snuck into the women's health clinic at 8:40 a.m. Nov. 27, 2021.
Catherine Lederer-Plaskett, president of Choice Matters told Patch that a woman who was not a patient of the clinic was allowed in the building and she let two men in. Another woman pretending to be a patient was allowed in and let another man in, she said. They then confronted the real patients.

"What this must have done to the women in the waiting room," Lederer-Plaskett said. "This was a medical facility and the people had a right to be there."
Most left, but the three men stayed despite receiving requests and then warnings from medical staff and the White Plains Police Department.
The three men, one who was on the floor blocking the entrance to the office, were arrested by police and had to be carried out.
They were "perhaps hoping to talk the three people inside into just leaving," LifeNet, the online journal of the Hudson Valley Coalition for Life, said at the time.
The three men are scheduled to be sentenced June 20.
“The District Attorney’s Office will vigorously prosecute any criminal acts that interfere with an individual’s constitutional right to freely access healthcare,” Rocah said. “There are no insignificant cases when it comes to the protection of reproductive rights.”
On Aug. 27, 2021, Christopher Moscinski was arrested at a Planned Parenthood clinic in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and charged with criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Police said the then 51-year-old was a resident of The Bronx.
