Last Chance to Celebrate Chinese New Year's at Bao's in White Plains
The serving of eight classic Chinese dishes will end on February 22, 2016.

One of the eight special Chinese New Year’s dishes being offered at Bao’s in White Plains is called Chinese New Year’s Delight. It is served in a “woven” and eatable noodle basket. Shrimp, scallops and vegetables fill the basket and are topped with cashew nuts ($20.95). This dish, which I tried today, is delicious and its crispy noodles are a tasty treat.
The celebration of 2016 Chinese New Year at Bao’s in White Plains will end in a few days. Customers have until February 22 to select from eight special dishes prepared to honor the Year of the Monkey.
“The most ordered special dish since the celebration began (on February 7) has been Fortune Fish,” said owner May Tan. Most of the special dishes will be retired for a while and possibly for the rest of the year but she mentioned, “It is likely we will serve Fortune Fish from time to time because of its popularity.” Fortune Fish is priced at $22.95.
