Licensing Fees to Go Up for White Plains Night Clubs
There are 14 night clubs in the city.

WHITE PLAINS, NY - Night club owners in White Plains are going to have to dig a little deeper in their pockets to keep their doors open.
The Common Council just approved a 400 percent increase in licensing fees that establishments which feature music or dancing will have to pay, according to lohud.com.

A cabaret license, which has to be renewed annually, will now cost $2,500, up from $500, starting July 1.
