Lowey To Hold Health Care Town Halls Saturday
Health-care experts will discuss the proposed legislation and how it will affect New Yorkers.

Two Health Care Town Halls will be held Saturday, March 18 in Rockland and Westchester counties to cover the impacts of the Republican legislation to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
Rep. Nita M. Lowey, D-Harrison, will discuss with health-care experts how the proposed legislation will affect New Yorkers.
According to a spokesperson, the topics for discussion will include coverage being offered, costs for insurance, subsidies to purchase insurance and affects on Medicaid and Medicare.

At the town halls, there will be experts from New York State, AARP, Hospital Association of New York State and Jawonio (for Rockland) and Blythedale Children’s Hospital (for Westchester).
