Mild Start to Rainy Finish: Weekend Weather for White Plains
We tell you what to expect this weekend around Valhalla.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — We can look forward to another mild day around the Hudson Valley for Friday and an even better day Saturday.
The “trouble” starts brewing Sunday in the form of a nor’easter in the evening which may or may not be an all-rain event.
Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather said that within the past 36 hours there has been the possibility that cold air out of Canada could push its way into the Hudson Valley Sunday night.

If that happens, we could see a wet snow mixing with and changing to rain in the lower parts of the valley with the more northern areas getting a good amount of snow.
“Either way, a significant coastal storm looks likely for Monday, with gusty winds and a fair amount of precipitation,” Potter said. “The big question… will it be rain… or maybe snow?”
