Here's the latest information on when the rain will fall and how much there will be for White Plains and Valhalla.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Scattered showers leading to steady rain are in the forecast for the Hudson Valley for Tuesday. And the badly needed precipitation will continue Wednesday.
According to Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather, the showers will begin to taper off after 4 p.m. Tuesday, but then the rain will make a return visit Wednesday and will continue through the afternoon and into Wednesday night.
“[B]etween Tuesday and Wednesday night, widespread 1- to 2.5-inch totals are likely (more likely closer to 2 to 2.5 inches),” Potter said. “We’ll also see localized areas of 3 inches in some cases.”
