I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro (Memphis, Nice Work If You Can Get It) and music by Jimmy Roberts (Thing About Men) that is the 2nd longest-running Off Broadway musical EVER. The show was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Off-Broadway musical in 1997. Marvelously tuneful and funny, it played 5,003 performances off-Broadway and in over 400 cities worldwide.

This honest musical tackles modern love in all its forms: from the perils and pitfalls of the first date to marriage, children, and the twilight years of life. Set in the modern world and told in a series of vignettes and songs I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change traces the overall arc of relationships throughout the course of a life. Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. An insightful and hilarious musical, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change will have audience members shouting, “This is my life!”
