National Burger Day: New York’s Best Burger; Special Deals

The Memorial Day weekend may be over, but there’s still reason to eat burgers on Tuesday, which is national hamburger day in the United States.

According to figures from the U.S. Census Bureau, there are more than 3,500 establishments in New York whose main menu item is hamburgers. So, on national hamburger day, you have plenty of options for your meal.

Where can you find the best burger in New York. The Daily Meal said it can be found in New York City at Minetta Tavern.

Several hamburger joints are also offering special deals on Tuesday. According to a list compiled by Offers.com, burger joints, including Carl’s Jr., White Castle and Burger King have special deals to mark the unofficial holiday.

Here are some of the burger deals you can get in New York:

• Burger Fi: Cheeseburgers for $5 each on May 28. They are usually $7.
• Burger King: Angry Whopper returns for limited time.
• Carl's Jr.: New, limited-time Bacon Truffle Angus Burger is $5.99.
• McDonald's: 2 for $5 Mix & Match Deal through May 31.
• Ruby Tuesday: Enter the Burger Jackpot by May 31 for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas and free Ruby Tuesday for a year.
• Sonic: King's Hawaiian Burger Club for $4.99.
• Wayback Burgers: Signature Premium burger for just $3 on National Hamburger Day.
• Wendy's: New $5 Biggie Bag, which has a Bacon Double Stack, chicken nuggets, small fries and drink.
