ArtsWestchester is pleased to announce the election of Froma Benerofe as President of its Board of Trustees. Having served as Executive Vice President for two years and chair of the grants committee for five, Ms. Benerofe brings her leadership skills to guide the organization into its 50th anniversary year in 2015. No stranger to the arts, this dedicated and energetic lady has served on the boards of the Steffi Nossen Dance in Education Fund and the Parsons School of Dance. Besides her commitment to the arts, Ms. Benerofe maintains a private practice in clinical social work, helping countless individuals throughout the county. A longtime Westchester resident, she currently resides in Purchase with her husband Andrew.
After two years of outstanding service, Jacqueline Walker steps down as President. Having joined the board in 2002, Ms. Walker has been a dynamic leader and driving force. During her two-year tenure as president, individual board giving increased and today ArtsWestchester is poised to launch a capital and reserve campaign as an integral part of its 50th anniversary celebration. Ms. Walker will continue to serve as a board member and as Immediate Past President.

Thomas R. Manisero, partner at the law firm of Wilson Elser, has an extensive background in commercial litigation. During his 30-year career, Mr. Manisero regularly shares his legal expertise by conducting education programs and writing thought leadership pieces and articles. Mr. Manisero is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
Maria Ferreira, the Suburban New York and Connecticut Community Banking area president for Wells Fargo, manages 41 retail banking stores and 394 employees for Wells Fargo, the fourth largest U.S. bank. A Yonkers native, Ms. Ferreira provides executive leadership for retail and business banking operations and is also a senior vice president for the company.

Appointed to ArtsWestchester’s board as a legislative representative, Catherine Parker served on the Rye City Council until being elected to the Westchester County Legislature in 2013 to represent the 7th District. As a member of the Rye community, Ms. Parker offers insight into local issues and a perspective of service to others.
Paola Morsiani, director of the Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College, is a native of Venice, Italy, and has had an extensive curatorial career combined with knowledge of contemporary art, scholarship, and museum professionalism.
