New Healthy Fast Food Restaurant Opens in White Plains

This is the first location freshii has opened in New York.

WHITE PLAINS, NY - A new healthy fast-food, fresh-food restaurant has opened its doors in White Plains.

Freshii, located 240 Main St., started feeding customers Feb. 22.

The company, which is in more than 80 cities and 15 countries, offers a menu of healthy options, including soups, salads, wraps, burritos and frozen yogurt.

The restaurant’s mission, according to a prepared statement, is to “be kind to the earth by eliminating traditional fast-food practices.”

It uses natural, eco-friendly cleaning products and a setup that doesn’t require energy-hungry dishwashers or ovens.

Everything, including utensils, that a customers takes from the store is either biodegradable or recyclable.

The White Plains freshii restaurant, which is the first to open in New York, is owned by Jon Blob.

Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
