New Kidney Transplant Director Picked for Westchester Medical Center
The doctor is a native of Japan and lives in White Plains.
WHITE PLAINS, NY - A White Plains resident has joined Westchester Medical Center as the surgical director of kidney transplantation.
Hiroshi Sogawa, MD, FACS, will oversee the growth of the center’s kidney transplant program and help expand the liver transplant, hepatobiliary surgery and living donor transplant programs.

Prior to joining Westchester Medical Center, Sogawa served as director of abdominal transplant surgery fellowship/assistant professor of surgery at the Universtiy of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Before that he was assistant professor of surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
