New York Traffic Safety Committee Releases App to Combat Drinking & Driving

The New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee and the New York State Stop DWI Foundation have released a new mobile app to combat drinking and driving.

The Have a Plan mobile app is free and provides the user with a convenient way to locate and call a taxi service and program a designated driver list. The app educates users on Blood Alcohol Content levels, DWI laws and information about penalties. Have a Plan also allows users to report a suspected impaired driver.

The app is available for Apple, Droid, and Windows smartphones. Have a Plan free mobile app was funded by the National Highway Safety Administration. For more information, click here.
