Next Public Hearing on French American School of NY Set for Sept. 8

The hearing is set for Monday, Sept. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber, located on the 2nd floor of White Plains City Hall.

The next public hearing on the French American School of New York’s application to build a school at the former Ridgeway Country Club is scheduled for Sept. 8, according to White Plains officials.

Below is the city’s announcement:

The public hearings for the FASNY application will continue on Monday, September 8 at 6:30 PM in the Common Council Chamber, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall. A sign-up sheet will be available starting at 5:00 PM on that day outside the Council Chamber for all those who wish to speak at the public hearings.

FASNY’s application has garnered both support and opposition among officials and residents, and the school has amended its plan in an effort to address some concerns, such as the size and scope of the project.
