With music and lyrics by Terry Cashman of "Talkin’ Baseball" fame, "Once Upon A Pastime" portrays the life of Mac McCarty (John Bolger), a one-time great baseball prospect, from the early loss of his father to his own trials filling that role with his daughter, Sandy. Following a career-ending injury, Mac and his childhood friend, Shep, open The Bullpen, a baseball-themed bar in Florida. They struggle but survive until a mysterious and menacing character, T.C. Washburn, ignites a series of events threatening their very existence. However, the Baseball Gods of Mac’s imagination have been watching over him for a long time. Mayhem ensues when the Gods materialize and try to help Mac avert disaster
