Pair Arrested On Weapons, Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Police said they had a hand gun, pot and codeine.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Two men face weapons and drug charges after being stopped on I-287 for a moving violation. State Police said Christopher Brodie, 26, of Bloomfield, CT, the driver of the vehicle, and Kristopher Duquense, 27, of Yonkers, were allegedly in possession of a loaded Smith and Wesson .38-caliber revolver.

They were also allegedly in possession of about 2.6 ounces of marijuana and 8 fluid ounces of codeine.

Both men were taken into custody and processed at the Tarrytown barracks where they were charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree; a Class C Felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Marihuana in the 4rd Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.
  • False Personation, a Class B Misdemeanor
  • Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation
  • Vehicle and Traffic Violation

Duquense and Brodie were arraigned before the City of White Plains Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or bond for Duquense, and $15,000 bail or bond for Brodie.

Both are scheduled to reappear in the City of White Plains Court April 24.
