Pepe Cadillac Helps New Yorkers In Need With Coat Drive

The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association collected 12,500 coats.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Pepe Cadillac in White Plains joined more than 100 other area dealerships to help New Yorkers in need.

General Manager Sue Silverman and General Sales Manager Jim Romer led a massive coat drive effort to help collect coats to support New York Cares Annual Coat Drive. according to a spokesman.

The auto dealers donated 12,500 coats in total which were collected and sorted by the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association before being delivered to the charity.

The results of the drive means thousands of New Yorkers will not have to decide between buying a warm coat and putting food on the table, heating their homes or meeting other basic survival needs.

For nearly three decades, New York Cares has collected and distributed winter coats to thousands of men, women and children who would otherwise go cold.
