Plainsmen Ice Hockey Program in White Plains Holds Try-Outs

The travel program competes in the Hudson Valley Hockey League and throughout the Tri-State area.

The Plainsmen Ice Hockey travel program will hold try-outs tonight, April 6, and Tuesday, the White Plains Parks and Recreation Department announced. The Plainsmen program is a member of the Hudson Valley Hockey League and competes in the Tri-State area.

Try-outs will be held at the Ebersole Ice Rink, 110 Lake Street in White Plains. The following levels are holding try-outs: Squirts, Pee-Wee, Bantam, U-16 and U-18 Midgets.

According to the department, the times are as follows: Squirt level @ 5:45 p.m., Pee Wee level @ 7:00 p.m., Bantams @ 8:15 p.m. and Midgets @ 9:30 p.m. Players must attend both session days. The try-out fee is $75 and is non-refundable. Full hockey gear is required.
