Plane from Westchester Makes Hard Landing on Long Island

The pilot is president of Ponderosa Air, a charter company based at Republic Airport.

A plane that took off from Westchester County Airport landed gear up at an Republic Airport on Long Island Monday.

The pilot was Ponderosa Air President Jan Nerud and his passenger was also a pilot, according to an Associated Press article at lohud.com.
