Police Arrest CT Man in White Plains, Charge Him with Felony DWI

The man has had two previous drunk driving convictions in the last 10 years.

A Connecticut man was arrested in White Plains Saturday for driving drunk and now faces a felony charge.

New York State Police said Daniel F. Gomez-Ayora, 31, of Stamford was stopped on I-287 for multiple traffic violations.

He was allegedly intoxicated and was taken to the Tarrytown barracks for processing.

At that point, he refused to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content in his system.

Gomez-Ayora has had two prior drunk driving convictions within the last 10 years, so he was charged with felony driving while intoxicated.

He also faces multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Gomez-Ayora was arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail or bond.
