Presidents Day Justice Monday Rally In White Plains Draws 100
Westchester Social Justice Community organized the event.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — About 100 people turned out Monday for the Presidents Day Justice Monday Rally in White Plains.
According to organizers, the message was "#WeThePeople say: The President Is Not Above the Law!"
Families were invited to participatelstand together to oppose bigotry, racism, misogyny and other forms of oppression.

The speakers included Myra Saul of Westchester for Change, County Legislator Chaterin Brogia, Zeltzyn Sanchez Gomez of Sustainable Port Chester Alliance, Laurie Puhn Feinstein, founder of Not In Our Towns Westchester NY Unites Against Hate and David Imammura of Irvington.
Westchester Social Justice Community, a network formed by more than a dozen community groups and nonprofits, began holding Justice Monday gatherings in January with a rally to highlight the need to protect the 20 million Americans who stand to lose health care if the Affordable Care Act is repealed.
