Public Hearing Scheduled on Proposed Bee-Line ParaTransit Fare Increase

The fare increase is scheduled to take effect in June.

A public hearing will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016, on the proposed fare increase for the Bee-Line Bus ParaTransit.

The proposed fare increase, which is scheduled to take effect in June 2016, will raise the one-way fare from $4 per ride to $5.

The May 31 meeting held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave. in White Plains.

Residents can get to the County Center via Bee-Line routes 1W, 3, 5, 6, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 27, 40, 41, 77 and F.

Organizers said the Westchester County Center is an accessible building.

If residents are unable attend the hearing, letters or emails will be received up to June 2, 2016.
