Rain, Then Cooler Temps: Weekend Weather for White Plains

We tell you what to expect weather-wise for Small Business Saturday in White Plains and Armonk.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Now that the big Thanksgiving feast is behind us and leftovers are in front of us, it’s time to think about what to do for the rest of the weekend.

Fortunately — though the Hudson Valley still badly needs rain — previously forecast precipitation into Saturday has been pulled back a little.

Yes, we still have to get through a few spotty showers on Black Friday thanks to a weather system over southern Canada. But then it gets better.

“As we head into the weekend, our wind will shift back around the NW, so a cooler day is expected on Saturday,” said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “But that NW wind will also help to push the clouds and drizzle out of the region, and should give us a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 40s. Not a bad day for late November.”

That means the weather will be great for getting out and taking advantage of Small Business Saturday in your community.
