Report: Four Decapitated Geese Discovered in New Rochelle
The bodies of the four geese were found - lined up in a row - in Huguenot Park/Twin Lakes.

The bodies of four decapitated geese were discovered in Huguenot Park/Twin Lakes in New Rochelle Wednesday morning, according to a report in The Journal News.
Reporters Thane Grauel and James O’Rourke write that the discovery was made by a resident walking her dog early in the morning, and when she returned later in the day the carcasses were gone. Some feathers remained in the spot where they were located.
Local police, in addition to animal rights groups, have been notified about the discovery.

The discovery is an eerie reminder of another gruesome animal discovery from April, when the carcasses of 25 dead cats were discovered hanging in bags tied to trees in a wooded area of Yonkers. A reward of more than $20,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the responsible parties.
