Results of White Plains, Valhalla School Budget Votes

Valhalla's vote tally was a bit closer than that of White Plains.

Voters in White Plains and Valhalla Tuesday easily adopted the districts’ proposed spending plans of $205.8 million and $47.3 million, respectively, according to unofficial results.

The vote was 786 to 203 in White Plains, and in Valhalla, the tally was a bit closer at 377 to 217.

In the only contested race in the two districts, Rose Lovitch, James Hricay and Cayne Letizia were elected to the Board of Education in White Plains.
